Brand identity

Briko® is the Italian brand offering state-of-the-art technical products for cycling, skiing, and running: glasses, helmets, goggles, accessories, underwear and apparel for professionals and enthusiasts alike. Briko®’s mission is to use the brand’s explosive energy to create iconic design products for athletes and sportspeople looking for uncompromised performance and safety.

History

The Briko® brand was born between Monte Rosa and Lake Maggiore in 1985 and developed thanks to the support of a close-knit Team, made up of special people and driven by great passion for design and cutting-edge performance, where each and everyone is aware of his/her knowledge and shares it. From the verybeginning, Briko®’s philosophy has been based on two pillars: 100% Italian design and the most advancedtechnology, so as to always ensure that final users get the best performance. Over the years, the Briko® Team has been made up of young enthusiastic and expert athletes, all ready to deploy their skills: from skiers like Alberto Tomba, Marc Girardelli, Lasse Kjus, Deborah Compagnoni, Kristian Ghedina, Bode Miller, Peter Fill, and Lindsey Vonn to Nordic ski champions like Björn Daehlie and Piller Cottrer, from the speed skier Ivan Origone to the cycling heroes Tony Rominger, Marco Pantani, and Mario Cipollini. In March 2016 Basic Net became the worldwide exclusive licensee of the Briko® brand, which is currently present on 50 different markets, from the US to Japan, from Europe to Russia and South Korea.

Briko® is distributed all over the world by BasicNet SpA, a company that owns the brands Kappa®, Robe di Kappa®, Jesus® Jeans,Sebago®, K-Way®, Superga®, AnziBesson® and Sabelt®, leading brands in the sports and casual apparel, shoes, and accessories sectors.
